Two Toms River Teens, Amanda Kacperowski a Junior at Monsignor Donovan High School and Sara Brilliant a Freshman at Toms River HS North successfully organized and held the first Pier Pressure Hurricane Relief Concert on December 1st and raised $15,000.

NJDOT puts off road reconstruction until after Labor Day
The New Jersey Department of Transportation will not begin Route 35 road reconstruction from Hurricane Sandy until after the summer season. They realized that construction on the heavily traveled Route 35 will cause serious traffic delays and no parking for businesses.
