NJDOT puts off road reconstruction until after Labor Day

The New Jersey Department of Transportation will not begin Route 35 road reconstruction from Hurricane Sandy until after the summer season.  They realized that construction on the heavily traveled Route 35 will cause serious traffic delays and no parking for businesses.  Towns from Point Pleasant Beach to Island State Beach Park would of been affected.
