A Major Snowstorm/Blizzard Heading Our Way

CHANCES INCREASING FOR A MAJOR SNOWSTORM/BLIZZARD LATE MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

The potential for a  powerful storm with heavy snow, strong winds and very cold temperatures in the late Monday, Monday night and Tuesday time frame is heading our way.

The latest run of the European model, which is by far the superior model for East Coast storms, shows a slow moving coastal storm that goes into a complete stall just off the NJ shore producing snow for over 24 hours across the entire area. If this scenario were to occur, and the chances are becoming high that something close to this idea will occur, snow amounts could be 5 to 8 inches.

Bitter cold air follows the storm with additional storm threats on Friday and Sunday/Monday.

Stay tuned for updates.
