TOMS RIVER — Joseph D. “Joe” Finn, Jr., 51, known affectionately by many as JR and Howdy, passed away on May 14, 2026. Born and raised in Hoboken, Joe later made his home in Ocean County, where he built a life centered around family, friendship, and the simple joys he loved most.

Authorities have confirmed that the body discovered at Fox Point State Park on April 24 has been identified as 27‑year‑old Lizandro Guizar Sartiaguin, a missing man from Hammonton, New Jersey.
Delaware State Police responded to the park around 6 p.m. after a visitor reported finding a decomposed body near Lighthouse Road. Investigators later confirmed the remains belonged to Sartiaguin, who had been missing since February 27, when he was last seen leaving his Hammonton residence.
