Some residents of New Jersey were awakened early on Wednesday morning by an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.2, the most powerful to strike the region since a 4.8 earthquake back in April..
This most recent earthquake is the sixth to jolt the Garden State</a> in July. There were five in the Califon region and one close to New Egypt. Since the 4.8 earthquake with an epicenter in Lebanon was discovered on April 5 at roughly 10:23 a.m., the USGS reports that 182 earthquakes have been recorded.
