According to the New Jersey State Police, two people were hurt in a collision on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River on Friday morning that caused traffic to be delayed for more than three hours.
According to Detective I Jeffrey Lebron, there were no major injuries in the collision that was reported at 7:33 a.m.
He claimed a GMC and a Chevrolet were engaged in an accident at milepost 82 north in Toms River, which caused the GMC to crash into a guiderail and the Chevrolet to go off the road and crash into some trees.
According to him, both drivers were brought to a local hospital.
The accident is under investigation.
