Two Teens Have Died In Route 9 Car Crash
GoFundMe Sites Have Been Set Up for The Two Teenagers Killed in a Terrible Car Crash on Route 9 in Freehold Township
The victims are identified as
John Ryan McCarthy
, 15, of Allentown, and
Asaivion Whiting
, 17, of Manalapan, according to the website.
They were passengers in a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu whose 17-year-old driver lost control, driving the vehicle off the road and into numerous concrete-filled poles before rolling over in front of the AAA car repair business on the southbound side.
Two other passengers and the driver were hospitalized and released, according to Chris Swendeman of the
Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
