A Manchester Township resident who was accused of conducting a trafficking enterprise for some rather potent drugs faces a sentence of up to life in prison.
According to U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger, Dyshawn Moss, 43, of Manchester, has been found guilty of possessing fentanyl with the intent to distribute, heroin with the intent to distribute, cocaine with the intent to distribute, possessing a firearm while a felon, and possessing a firearm to further a drug trafficking offense.
This is related to a 2019 investigation that led to Moss's arrest at his apartment in Manchester Township, where on May 24 of that year, according to attorney Sellinger, authorities discovered more than 1,300 grams of heroin, 2,600 grams of cocaine, more than 1,000 grams of fentanyl, packaging materials for drugs, more than $150,000 in cash, and a 9-mm Taurus handgun with 10 rounds of ammo in his possession.
Moss may spend up to 10 years in prison and get a fine of up to $10 million for drug trafficking, according to attorney Sellinger, and he could spend up to 10 years in prison and pay a fine of up to $250,000 for gun possession.
Moss could also be sentenced to a minimum of five years in jail and a maximum of life in prison, as well as a fine of up to $250,000, for having a firearm while committing a drug trafficking offence.
Moss is scheduled to be sentenced in March of 2023.
