One of the new businesses coming to the Seacourt Pavilion, a renowned retail shopping center on Hooper Avenue, is a salon that allows beauty professionals a chance to branch out on their own.
According to RIPCO Real Estate, the brokerage representing the center,
Haven Salon Studios has secured a lease for the 9,000-square-foot retail facility that was formerly home to
Pier 1 Imports. It is anticipated to open around February 1, 2024, making it the third facility for the business. Another is being built in the former Ruby Tuesday restaurant on Route 70 in Lakewood, and one is already operational on Route 35 in Eatontown.
The interior of the old Pier 1 Imports will be renovated by
Haven Salon Studios to create salon suites. They will be leased to industry experts in the beauty industry, such as barbers and hairdressers, who can open shops and operate their own businesses.
According to Jason Harkavy, who owns Haven Salon Studios with his wife Stacie, the façade of the facility will also be renovated to include additional windows. Salon suites come with quartz worktops, cupboards, styling chairs, and sinks for shampooing.
