According to Toms River Police Department, there have been several inquiries into residents seeing numerous Toms River Police vehicles traveling to emergencies on Friday afternoon, evening and overnight.

The holiday weekend presented officers on duty with a high volume of calls which include, but are not limited to, large unruly crowds, domestic violence calls, a residential burglary in progress, several DWIs, first aid calls, neighboring town's mutual aid police requests and more.

Toms River Officers are here to protect and serve our community 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
