Barnegat Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying the owner of a newer model white Dodge Durango that was parked, unoccupied, in the lot of Barnegat 67.

The vehicle was located between the Jersey Mike's restaurant and Jersey Shore Vet.

At approximately 6:01 PM, the Durango was struck by another vehicle, but the Durango had left the area prior to police arrival.
