Fatal Incident: Tree Falls on Motorcycle Rider in NJ, Claims Life

According to NJ State Police, a 32-year-old man from Warren County lost his life when his motorcycle overturned due to a tree falling onto the road as he was riding it on Sunday afternoon.

Just before 4 p.m., troopers were called to the collision on U.S. Highway 46 in White Township, according to State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. Travis Worrell, 32, of Hackettstown was traveling west on the highway when a tree fell and struck him close to Milepost 11.8, according to investigators.

Worrell was thrown from the Honda motorcycle as it overturned due to the incident. He sustained fatal injuries in the crash, Lebron said.

No further details have been revealed, and the incident is still being investigated.
