Ocean County Sheriff’s Office 5th Annual Survivor’s Day 5K & Walk to benefit Mental Health Awareness.

November 23, 2024, is International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day - a day dedicated to those affected by suicide.

This year’s run/walk will honor Lieutenant Anthony “Butchie” Kurnel III, an officer with the Berkeley Township Police Department.

Butchie passed away on September 1, 2016.

The race will start at 9:30 am, at 5 Wanamaker Plaza in Island Heights.
