According to Tuckerton Fire Departmenton Sunday morning, South Jersey emergency personnel responded to a sizable boat fire.

The fire started in West Tuckerton, Ocean County, shortly after 9:30 a.m.

Authorities said that after receiving reports of a burning boat, many fire departments in Little Egg Harbor responded.

According to reports, the fire started while the boat was at a gas station. Four individuals were on board at the time, according to the authorities.

According to authorities, firefighters were eventually able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading.

The fire was said to have caused no injuries. What might have caused this tragedy is still unknown.

Police are asking anyone with knowledge to contact the Police Department.
