Meet K-9 Buck, the newest addition to the Manchester Police K-9 Unit!

Buck, a 7-month-old red American Labrador, is currently undergoing specialized training in scent detection (narcotics) and tracking with the New Jersey Police K-9 Association in Tinton Falls, led by Lt. Turso.

His handler is Officer Jon Meaney, a proactive patrol officer who has been dedicated to serving our community since 2020.

K-9 Buck was purchased from Garden State K9 in Succasunna, NJ, thanks to grant funding and the support of the Manchester Police Foundation.

“We’re looking forward to his graduation on January 20, 2025, and can’t wait to see him in action”.
