ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK

On sale Dec. 1, at 7 a.m. with a capped limit of 1,000 permit sales per day over an eight-day period. The website will announce when the limit has been reached each day and anglers will have an opportunity to purchase a permit the following day starting at 7 a.m. until all passes are sold out.

This new system aims to create more equitable access to purchase Island Beach State Park’s highly sought after Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permits.

Island Beach State Park Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permits are now pick-up only – there is no longer an option to have the permit mailed to your house.

CORSONS INLET STATE PARK & NORTH BRIGANTINE NATURAL AREA

Corson’s Inlet State Park and North Brigantine Natural Area Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permits also go on sale for purchase Dec. 1, at 7 a.m.

Due to lower demand, there is not a cap on the number of permits sold per day. Permit purchases will be available 24 hours a day until all permits are sold out.

Island Beach State Park – Annual – NJ Resident: $195 / Out of State: $225

Island Beach State Park – Weekday Permits – NJ Resident $150 / Out of State: $175

North Brigantine Natural Area – Annual – NJ Resident $50 / Out of State: $75

Corson’s Inlet State Park – Annual – NJ Resident $50 / Out of State: $75

Please note: There is a $5 transaction fee for all permit purchases.

Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permits grant the permit holder’s all-wheel drive vehicle access to drive on to the beaches at Island Beach State Park, North Brigantine Natural Area and Corson’s Inlet State Park for the sole purpose of fishing.

Saltwater anglers must register with the New Jersey Saltwater Recreational Registry Program (NJSRRP) prior to fishing.
