Athena Petrizzo rocketed through the school system, graduating from Joseph A. Citta Elementary School, then Intermediate North and, finally, High School North.

Her educational journey and extracurricular activities were sustained by a dream to become a professional dancer. As anyone who watched the most recent Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade might know, that dream has been achieved. Although Petrizzo is not a dancer but the dancer: a Radio City Rockette.
