Tragic Incident: Train Strikes and Kills Individual in New Jersey
According to NJ Transit, a pedestrian was killed after being struck Monday morning close to Ramsey station.
Until the afternoon, the Main Line trains between Suffern and Waldwick were halted in both directions.
Service had returned by 1 p.m., however there were 60-minute delays on the Main Line, Port Jervis, and Bergen County lines.
Additional details regarding the victim were not made public by the authorities.
