The National Weather Service predicts that Wednesday's overnight storm will only bring a light dusting of snow to the state, with Atlantic and Cape May counties potentially receiving 1 to 3 inches.

A "major snowstorm" is unlikely, according to AccuWeather forecasters, but a last-minute northern shift could bring some light but manageable snow accumulation in the I-95 area.
According to the National Weather Service, "depending on where the banding sets up, there is a low chance for higher amounts, so remain alert for changes to the forecast."

Although forecasters predict less than a half-inch of snow for most of New Jersey, snow is more likely to fall on Thursday.

Forecasters predict that the remainder of the week will be chilly and windy. According to National Weather Service forecasters, temperatures will warm up a little over the weekend and into the following week, with highs of the 50s possible on Monday and Tuesday.
