Fast-Moving Storm Set to Hit New Jersey: What You Need to Know

The most recent forecast calls for warmer, spring-like temperatures and rain from a fast-moving storm to cover New Jersey from Wednesday through Thursday.

According to National Weather Service forecasters, Wednesday's mild temperatures will give way to rain in the evening and overnight, primarily in North Jersey.

Forecasters say the amount of rain up north will be between 0.1 and 0.25 inches, and it won't be particularly heavy.
However, AccuWeather forecasters warn that the rain may cause some fog and ponding on highways. Overnight cold temperatures may also result in some icing.

As we approach meteorological spring, March 1, warmer temperatures are predicted through the weekend. Saturday night could bring more showers, primarily in northwest Jersey.

The National Weather Service predicts a cold snap that will last from Sunday into Monday, with highs in the 30s.
Things will warm up again by the middle of next week.
