Toms River Library Celebrates Opening Night of Prom Dress Giveaway

Ocean County Commissioner Jennifier Bacchione recently visited the Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library for the first night of the 2025 Prom Dress Giveaway.

The program has given hundreds of students across Ocean County the opportunity to find their dream prom dress thanks to the generous donors and library patrons. Commissioner Bacchione, who serves as liaison to the Ocean County Library Commission, encourages students to visit the library to see the collection of dresses and pick one out for themselves.

The Prom Dress Giveaway is open to all students in grades 8 through 12.

The giveaway is open from 4 to 8 p.m. and will be at the Toms River Branch from March 17 through 19, the Little Egg Harbor Branch from March 25 through 26 and the Jackson Branch from April 1 through 2.
