Paid parking is in effect in Seaside Heights from April 1 through October 31 each year.
Meters are enforced
April 1st through October 31st. The pay by number system is utilized by entering the vehicle space number on the ground at a parking pay station and making payment with cash or credit card.
After making payment, a receipt will print.
You do not need to display this receipt in or on the vehicle. You can keep it with you, and if you would like to stay longer, you can add more time to your space number at any of our other parking pay stations.
The parking fee is $3 per hour

#1913, enter your space and payment information, and you’re on your way.
Bayfront Free Parking
FREE PARKING in the Sumner Avenue Lot at the entrance to town. It is adjacent to the merry go round horse monument and is an approximately three block walk to the boardwalk and beach from the lot. (Overnight parking is not permitted.)
EMPLOYEES OF SEASIDE HEIGHTS BUSINESSES are encouraged to park in the free parking lot at the Grant Avenue entrance to town. Disabled Parking
Disability Accessible parking with state issued placard or license plate is free for up to 24 hours per NJ 39:4-207. Can be issued by visiting HERE. The disability placard must be displayed prominently, the person it was issued to must be present, and the issued ID card with them per the MVC. Parking in any municipal parking space, except for Purple Heart spaces, is free for vehicles displaying a state issued placard or license plate for up to 24 hours.
Parking is free in Purple Heart marked spaces for people who have the Purple Heart placard issued MVC for free.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS!
There are electric vehicle charging stations at the municipal parking lot on Grant Avenue.
There are 4 stations serving up to 8 electric vehicles.
Owners of electric vehicles will need to download the ChargePoint app that tells where EV units are installed nationwide. The pricing information is available on the app.
We will be adding additional units at the small lot on Ocean Terrace between Hancock Ave and Sheridan Ave in June next to the public restroom that will be constructed in June.
$1.50 per hour while charging
$2.00 hour after charging is completed
