George Lodovico drove for UPS in Vineland for more than 50 years after serving four years in the Marine Corps.

In order to assist with the Christmas rush, he began working for the company in December 1963.

He has since held a variety of positions inside the organization. In the end, he has driven safely for 55 years.

Those who reach significant years at UPS are admitted into the "Circle of Honor."

In front of his current and former coworkers, Lodovico, who is 84, was honored at a ceremony.

He still looks forward to going to work at 2:30 in the morning, even though he has no official plans to retire.
