Authorities Discover Human Skeletal Remains in South Jersey

Last month, human skeletal remains were discovered in a small South Jersey town's woods.

According to officials, the remains were found in the woods close to Lebabon Road in Cumberland County's Deerfield Township. At 5:20 p.m. on March 6, state troopers arrived on the scene to conduct an investigation.

The identity and cause of death of the deceased are unknown to the authorities.
According to a State Police the investigation is still ongoing and no new details are available.

Since Deerfield lacks a police force of its own, local law enforcement is handled by the State Police.
