Fundraiser for Teen Sisters Killed In Massive Fire in NJ

Two sisters, aged 11 and 13, tragically lost their lives in a devastating fire that swept through several residences in Millville last week, as confirmed by their relatives.

The fire ignited at approximately 11 p.m. last Wednesday and continued to rage into the early hours of the morning, impacting six homes, including two duplexes, and displacing 21 individuals. Initially, both girls were reported missing, but authorities later confirmed their deaths on Thursday.

Family members have identified the victims as Gissel Samanta Cardona Gomez, aged 11, and Valery Mariana Cardona Gomez, aged 13.

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, my home located in the city of Millville caught fire, resulting in the loss of my two oldest daughters, Valery, 13 years old, and Gissel, 11 years old.
I never thought I would have to go through a moment like this, but unfortunately, this comes without warning. Not only did I lose my greatest treasure, my daughters, we also lost our home, our car, and absolutely everything.

El día jueves 10 de abril 2025, se incendió mi hogar ubicado en la ciudad de Millville, dejando como resultado la pérdida de mis dos hijas mayores, Valery de 13 años y Gissel de 11 años.
Nunca pensé tener que pasar por un momento como estos, pero lastimosamente esto llega sin avisar. No solo perdí mi tesoro más grande que fue mis hijas, también perdimos el hogar, el auto y absolutamente todo.
