29 Year-Old Ocean County Man Dies in Garden State Parkway Crash
A health care recruiter and Rutgers graduate who loved sports was murdered Wednesday when his automobile crashed off the Garden State Parkway in Toms River.

New Jersey State Police, J
onathan Harnish, 29, passed away at the scene of the collision that occurred in Hazlet at around five in the morning on Wednesday.
According to Lebron, he was traveling north on the Parkway in a Kia Forte when he lost control close to milepost 117.8 in Hazlet, slammed off the road into the median, and struck multiple trees.
According to his
LinkedIn page, Harnish was a health care recruiter for The Custom Group of Companies, an employment agency that assists in finding workers for a range of industries. He was a recruiter specializing on light businesses while he was employed at Horizon.
After two years at Towson University, he earned a 2018 cum laude degree from Rutgers University, where he majored in psychology and human resource management. His LinkedIn page states that he participated in club athletics at both Towson and Rutgers.
According to Lebron, the crash is still being investigated.
