Brick and Toms River Welcomes a New Dining Experience
Wonder, a brand-new restaurant concept that serves food made using the ingredients and recipes of famous chefs and is delivered from a central kitchen, will open sites in Brick and Toms River. These will be the company's first physical shops in southern New Jersey.
Wonder, which was founded by e-commerce pioneer Marc Lore, describes itself as "a new kind of food hall," where customers can order meals from a Wonder store and have them delivered to their front door in less than 30 minutes. Additionally, there will be a small on-site eat-in space at the local venues. Customers can chose from a variety of cuisines and dishes prepared locally by renowned chefs and restaurateurs worldwide, whether they wish to eat in, have their food delivered, or pick up.
The Brick site will open at 56 Chambers Bridge Road, Suite 16, an outparcel store in the Brick Plaza shopping mall.
The Toms River store will open at the Toms River Center (Kohl's) shopping plaza, located at 1 Route 37. According to a company spokesperson, the Brick store will open in June, and the Toms River store will open in July, both of which are planned for the popular summer months.

The menu, which is accessible via a smartphone app, includes dishes from award-winning eateries around the nation such Tejas Barbeque, Di Fara Pizza, Barrio Cafe, and Limesalt, among others, as well as chefs like Bobby Flay, Jose Andres, Marcus Samuelsson, and others. For the first time, patrons can enjoy "any combination of these chefs and restaurants all together in one order." Wonder also serves food from "Bellies," a restaurant specifically designed for kids.
In its introduction, Wonder stated that "everything is made-to-order at a Wonder shop and delivered to your door in less than 30 minutes, allowing Wonder to present an upgraded, curated dining experience to you every time."

According to the spokesman, Wonder will welcome the community on Saturday and Sunday with a Taste of Summer Boardwalk Pop-Up.
According to the representative, the Taste of Summer Boardwalk Pop-Up will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on both days and will feature free tastings, activities, prizes, and a Wonder gift card in addition to live music from 94.3 The Point.
Wonder will donate $1 for each order sold during opening week to Fulfill Monmouth & Ocean County and the Community Food Bank of NJ.
