

Amanda Rose Decker passed away with her loving family by her side on May 25, 2025, at the age of 22. Although her time was short, she spent every moment creating memories with her friends and family. Her infectious laugh and beautiful smile could brighten the darkest days and light up any room.
She loved to travel and wanted to see the world as she found beauty in absolutely everything. Amanda was very athletic and loved playing sports including varsity Field Hockey, medals in track and was a cheerleader for one brief season.
She had just received her Associates Degree and always had a plan of wanting to help people, although her ultimate goal was to be a princess.
Amanda was predeceased by her grandparents Joseph Decker, Gail Bazzanella and Edward Kearney. She is survived by her parents: Laurie Bazzanella and Joseph Decker (companion Cassandra Agnella), her twin brother, Dillon and baby sister, Jennifer, uncle Richard Bazzanella (Andrea), Thomas Bazzanella (Jennifer), aunt Wendy (Sean), aunt Debra, grandmother Arieen, grandparents, Richard and Theresa Bazzanella.
She is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and her kitties Milo and Chloe.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-9pm and again on Thursday from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00am at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Route 9, Forked River. Interment will follow at Bayville Cemetery, 526 Atlantic City Blvd. Bayville, NJ.
