Manchester Announces Schedule for Fall Fire Hydrant Flushing

Beginning at the end of September, the Manchester Township utilities staff will be cleaning water lines and hydrants all around the municipality, the township said.

According to officials, the fall hydrant flushing will span both the Eastern and Western service districts and last until October.

The work will be done both during the day and at night, with different hours, and each neighborhood will be informed when flushing in their region starts.

"During this time, you may experience a difference in pressure and discoloration," officials stated. Run just cold water until the water runs clear if discoloration is visible.
