According to Mayor Terrence Curran, and the Cranford Police Department, two students from Cranford High School have been identified as the girls who were killed on Monday while riding their bikes in the township.
The driver reportedly fled away from the incident but is currently being held, according to CBS News New York.
According to police, the two girls died after being transported to the hospital.
