UTV Crash in Ocean County: Two People Sustain Injuries
When two UTVs collided on Manchester's Pasadena Road on Saturday, two persons were hurt, according to Manchester Police.
Both
Andrew Kutchens, 31, of Whiting, and
Jennifer Wilczynski, 51, of Jackson, were transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune and were declared stable, according to Manchester Capt. Albert Vega.
Around 10:10 p.m., Kutchens was operating a green Polaris UTV near Pasadena Road and Webbs Mill Road, while Wilczynski was a passenger on a black Polaris UTV driven by John Kabouchy, 53, of Jackson. Saturday, according to Vega.
On Webbs Mill Road, the cars were heading south together when the black Polaris suddenly veered off the trail to the right, with the green Polaris right behind it, according to Vega. According to him, the green Polaris collided with the back of the black Polaris, forcing it to topple over, and the black Polaris collided with a tree head-on.
Accurate Towing responded, as did paramedics from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and emergency medical technicians from the Manchester Township Division of Emergency Services. Ptl. Gainey of the department's Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the collision.
