Coastal Storm May Affect Halloween Events in New Jersey

Coastal Storm May Affect Halloween Events in New Jersey

A possible coastal storm is predicted to develop off the Mid-Atlantic coast next week, according to weather forecasts. However, don't yet postpone your Halloween plans in New Jersey yet.

There is a lot of uncertainty around the prediction for next week, according to local forecasts, and it will probably take a few more days before the weather picture is more clear.

"A storm around that time is definitely a possibility for the time being. However, specifics are still unclear, according to Zachary Cooper, a meteorologist at the primary forecast office of the National Weather Service in New Jersey.
Cooper continued, "We are keeping an eye out for the potential, but there is a lot of inherent uncertainty because that is very near the end of the forecast period." "At this time, we are unable to pinpoint any specifics regarding the occurrence of this storm."

A rainstorm is expected to proceed from the Great Lakes region toward New Jersey in the middle to late part of next week, according to some early computer guidance models.

According to forecasts, the models suggest that a new storm system may form over the Atlantic Ocean at about the same time and may eventually develop into a coastal storm.
Cooper noted that there are still many unanswered uncertainties regarding the coastal storm's potential strength, course, and actual formation.
