Tragic Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of 26-Year-Old in Tom River

Toms River Crash: A Tragic Incident Resulting in Two Deaths

A motorcycle struck an individual on Route 37 west near Coolidge Avenue, resulting in a fatal crash that claimed two lives. Township police are investigating the crash.

According to authorities, the collision happened on October 26 just after 8 p.m. Additional information regarding the collision's circumstances and the identities of those involved have not yet been made public.

The investigation is being led by Toms River Police according to the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
The biker and another person were declared deceased before rescuers could provide assistance, based on early discussions on several social media pages.

While crash investigators and CSI units worked at the scene, the Ocean County Sheriff's Department and Toms River Police blocked all westbound lanes between Coolidge and Gouvernor Avenues for a number of hours.

The aftermath was characterized as horrific by witnesses. Others expressed horror at the scene's intensity, while one bystander claimed they tried to assist but discovered the victims had already passed away.
Police are still investigating the accident.
