Garden State Residents Gear Up for Freezing Temperatures

Residents of New Jersey will experience bitterly cold temperatures and freezing temperatures Monday evening, followed by a windy Tuesday that could reach 40 mph in several areas of the state.

The coldest weather of the season is predicted for Tuesday morning.

While Jersey Shore regions will experience temperatures close to freezing, interior parts of New Jersey will experience lows in the mid to upper 20s.
High temps It will only be in the low to mid-forties on Tuesday.

In the afternoon, wind chill readings will stay in the low to mid-30s.
Temperatures will moderate slightly on Wednesday.

Inland highs will reach the mid to upper 40s, while coastal highs will approach 50 degrees.

As high pressure moves into the area, there will be dry conditions from Thursday through Saturday.

Through Saturday night, temperatures will stay between 5 and 8 degrees below average.

Thursday through Friday will see brisk winds, which will then slow down during the weekend.
