Authorities stated on Wednesday that a Pennsylvania prisoner who had escaped from his work release location two months prior was apprehended and placed in handcuffs on the floor of a casino in Atlantic City.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Jeremy Ott, 30, left the Warrington, Pennsylvania location on September 27.

According to authorities, Ott's escape warrant was issued by the Bucks County District Attorney's Office three days later.
Then, according to the U.S. Marshals Service, Ott was discovered on the casino floor of Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City on November 19. Social media users have posted pictures of Ott getting arrested on the carpet.

Ott, a native of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, initially faced allegations in August of 2024. When authorities attempted to pull over Ott, he ran away. According to authorities, Ott was driving dangerously and with a suspended license following a DUI.

He was accused of driving while suspended, operating a vehicle illegally without an ignition interlock, resisting arrest, endangering minors, running away from police, recklessly endangering others, and four traffic infractions.

After that, Ott was apprehended in Atlantic City and extradited to Pennsylvania.
