Quick Storm Forecasted to Hit New Jersey

According to the most recent forecast, New Jersey could see overnight rain that might last until lunchtime on Saturday or longer.

The National Weather Service predicts that rain will arrive late on Friday night as a swift-moving storm moves across the nation.

The entire Garden State is expected to get rain overnight, according to an AccuWeather forecast map.
"Drenching rain will cut across the lower part of the Ohio and Tennessee valleys, the southern Appalachians and part of the mid-Atlantic from Friday night to Saturday evening," forecasters from AccuWeather stated.

On Saturday morning, there can be some slick conditions.

Forecasters warned that the rain would last till Saturday morning. Although there may be some residual rain in some coastal locations before everything completely clears up, it should taper off by noon.

According to National Weather Service projections, most places will receive between a quarter and a half inch of rain, while there may be even less rain north of I-78. Please check your local forecast to see what to expect.
