Police are investigating after a motorist collided into a nail business on Tuesday afternoon, Howell Township Police said.

At 12:47 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to Nail Pro on 3426 Route 9 South for a report of a car colliding into a building.

The driver of the involved vehicle, a 76-year-old resident of Jackson, was evaluated by EMS but was otherwise uninjured, police said. The driver's identity was withheld by the authorities.

Inside the nail shop, police said minor injuries were reported by guests, and all persons engaged in the incident were treated on scene by EMS. According to police, no serious injuries were reported.

The crash was assisted by the Howell Township Police Department EMS, Howell First Aid, Freewood Acres Fire Company, Southard Fire Department, Howell Township Building Department, NJ Natural Gas, and Taylor's Towing & Recovery.
