Bus Driver Hits and Kills South Jersey Man, Leaves Scene Without Stopping
According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, a Pleasantville, New Jersey, Transit bus driver is charged with hitting and killing a pedestrian without stopping.
A news statement stated that Christopher L. Younger, 41, was charged on Wednesday with second-degree fleeing the scene of a deadly car accident.
Thomas V. Kyle, 63, of Absecon was killed by a NJ Transit bus on November 30, 2025, just before 6 p.m., while he was attempting to cross Shore Road in Absecon, according to officials.
According to investigators, Younger, the alleged bus driver, did not stop following the collision.
The Absecon Police Department and the Crash Investigations Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office carried out the deadly crash investigation.
