With severe weather possible, it’s important to understand the difference between these two alerts:

🟡 Tornado Watch

Conditions are favorable for tornadoes to develop. Tornadoes are possible in and around the watch area. Stay alert, monitor weather updates, and be ready to take action if needed.

🔴 Tornado Warning

A tornado has been spotted or indicated by weather radar. This means a tornado may already be occurring or is imminent. Take shelter immediately in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor away from windows.
