Temperatures in the 60s, wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph, rain, and the possibility of thunderstorms this evening are predicted for New Jersey on Friday.

The National Weather Service stated early on Friday that "a warm and breezy day is in store for the area, with many sites reaching into the mid 60s." "There will be more clouds this afternoon, showers, and a few storms this evening and tonight."

Because to winds off the water, the Jersey Shore will stay in the 50s, according to forecasters.

On Friday night, showers are expected to start in the late afternoon and move throughout the remainder of the state.

There is a small risk of thunderstorms on Friday night in parts of western New Jersey, especially those north and along the I-95 corridor. As a cold front moves over the state, showers will stop overnight on Friday. By early Saturday morning, the weather will have improved.
The National Weather Service said the warming trend will continue through the weekend.

With afternoon highs in the mid-50s to low-60s, Saturday is expected to be dry and pleasant. The temperature will drop into the low 40s on Saturday night.

The majority of New Jersey is expected to have highs in the mid- to upper 60s on Sunday, although coastal regions will once more see somewhat lower temperatures.
Another cold front will approach Sunday night into Monday morning, bringing a chance of showers. Check your local forecast.
