Ocean County Drug Bust: Man Taken into Custody During Routine Patrol

According to Lakewood Police Department, on March 25, 2026, officers from the Lakewood Police Department Street Crimes Unit conducted proactive patrols and observed activity consistent with drug activity.

Officers stopped an individual, later identified as 34-year-old Jacob Dossantos of Lakewood. During the encounter, detectives recovered suspected crack cocaine along with drug paraphernalia.

Dossantos was taken into custody without incident and processed at headquarters. He was charged with drug-related offenses and released on a summons pending a future court appearance.
