On the morning of April 4, 2026, the day before Easter, a devastating fire broke out on Sheridan Ave in Seaside Heights. One house was completely lost, and two others were badly damaged. One of the damaged homes belongs to a family friend, who suddenly found themselves without a safe place to stay.

In Memory of Darlene Mosley, 48, of Toms River

Darlene was a loving mother, sibling, and friend. She was known for her love, laughter, kindness, attitude and how smart she was. She enjoyed working helping others, and watching her favorite television shows. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

January 22, 1978 – March 27, 2026
 

She was born on January 22, 1978 in Toms River to Janie Mosley and Roosevelt Henderson. She dedicated her life to her family and worked as a CNA .

Darlene was a loving mother, sibling, and friend. She was known for her love, laughter, kindness, attitude and how smart she was. She enjoyed working helping others and watching her favorite television shows. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Shalonda, Eugene, Maliek and Maria; her siblings Louis Jose Rosa and Luis; and also surviving are her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her mother Janie and father Roosevelt, also her brother Jimmy .

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
