Investigation Underway After Multi-Car Parkway Accident in Toms River
At least four people were injured Thursday in a three-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway in Toms River, according to New Jersey State Police.
Troopers responded to the crash around 1:50 p.m. near milepost 82.1 on the southbound side, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
The collision involved a Honda sedan, Toyota sedan and Honda SUV. The impact caused the Honda sedan to overturn.
The drivers and passengers in both Honda vehicles suffered minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. None of those injured were identified, and no additional injuries were reported.The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
