The New Jersey State Parks Scarecrow Contest is back!

The third annual contest is here, and staff from New Jersey’s state parks, forests and historic sites have put their creativity to the test! Using only materials found on site, park staff have created some one-of-a-kind scarecrows inspired by their locations and a little fall spirit. An internal panel of judges will vote on the following categories: most creative, best connection to park or forest history and best use of scrap materials.

Now, it’s your turn to choose the People’s Choice Award winner!

How to vote:

Browse all of the scarecrow photos attached.

Choose your ONE favorite scarecrow.

Vote by liking or reacting to your favorite photo. Please react to only ONE photo to keep the contest fair!

Get your votes in by Friday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m.

The photo with the most reactions/likes by the deadline will take home the People’s Choice Award!
