2027 Calendar Gives Popcorn Park Animals a Second Chance at a Better Life

FORKED RIVER, NJ – Every animal at Popcorn Park Animal Refuge has a story. Some arrived after being abandoned, neglected, or rescued from difficult circumstances. Others found their way to the refuge when they had nowhere else to go. Now, animal lovers throughout New Jersey have an easy and heartwarming way to support these deserving animals while enjoying a year filled with adorable faces.

The 2027 Associated Humane Societies & Popcorn Park Animal Refuge Calendar is now available, featuring 12 months of beloved shelter residents, adopted pets, annual calendar contest winners, and countless furry, feathered, and four-legged friends who represent the refuge’s mission of hope and second chances.

Since 1977, Popcorn Park Animal Refuge in Forked River has served as a sanctuary for animals big and small, providing safety, care, and compassion to those who have faced desperate circumstances. As a nonprofit refuge operated by Associated Humane Societies, the organization relies heavily on community support to continue its lifesaving work.

Purchasing the 2027 calendar is more than just adding a colorful addition to your home or office. Every calendar sold directly helps provide food, shelter, veterinary care, enrichment activities, and daily support for animals in need. The funds raised help ensure that rescued animals receive the care and attention they deserve while waiting for their forever homes or enjoying sanctuary at the refuge.

This year’s edition is packed with heartwarming photos that showcase the incredible animals whose lives have been changed through the dedication of staff, volunteers, donors, and adopters. From playful puppies and affectionate cats to some of Popcorn Park’s most recognizable residents, each page highlights the joy and resilience of animals given a second chance.

For those who already have a calendar, there are still opportunities to help. Additional donation options are available, allowing supporters to contribute directly to the care of the refuge’s animals and further the mission of Associated Humane Societies.

Calendars can be shipped directly to supporters or picked up at any of the organization’s four shelter locations. They are also available for in-person purchase.

As the new year approaches, animal advocates say there may be no better way to count down the months ahead than with a calendar that makes a real difference.

One calendar. Twelve months of adorable faces. Countless lives helped.
