Joe's Bagel & Grill is planning to establish two more sites in 2022, one in western Monmouth County and the other in central Ocean County.
One location, at 450 Union Hill Road in Marlboro, is in a facility that was formerly held by Dunkin' Donuts. The second Joe's Bagel & Grill in Toms River is located at 1358 Hooper Avenue in Toms River.Joe's Bagel & Grill opened its first store in West Long Branch in 2016. Joe's Bagel has locations in Sea Girt, Wall, Belmar, Point Pleasant, Brick, West Long Branch, Toms River, Beachwood, and Aberdeen, according to owner Russell Grabow.
Hand-rolled and boiled bagels, as well as breakfast sandwiches, omelets, sandwiches, coffee, and catering, are among its specialties.
According to Amy Staats, vice president of Katz & Associates, a commercial real estate company that represents Joe's Bagel, the property was desirable because of Marlboro's demographics and its placement at a Route 9 crossing.
Grabow said the new Toms River site, a 1,500-square-foot space at Hooper Commons, builds on the restaurant's "overwhelming success" on Fischer Boulevard.According to him, the firm is now trying to grow into North Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. He also mentioned Southern Florida as a potential market, saying, "We feel that's a terrific location."
