Apply to the Brick Township Police Cadets Program

Teens interested in law enforcement are encouraged to apply to be Public Safety Cadets with the Brick Township Police Department.

In a recent Facebook post, the department stated, "This program provides an important introduction to law enforcement for Brick Township's youth."

The cadets participate in practical simulations, educational training, and monthly meetings. According to the department, they also assist the police department with ride-alongs, significant community events, and other neighborhood gatherings.

The cadets, who are part of the Community Policing Unit, studied clearing room techniques in January.
