Arrest Made in Ocean County Bank Robbery

According to Brick Township Police Department, on Monday a Lakewood man has been taken into custody in relation to the July 24 bank robbery.
According to Police Chief David Forrester, Lakewood resident Andrew Borbotko 3rd, 44, was taken into custody on Saturday and is accused of second-degree robbery.
According to Forrester, Borbotko turned himself in without any problems after detectives named him as the suspect in the Santander Bank robbery and issued a warrant for his arrest on Friday.
Borbotko is being held at the Ocean County Jail.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Red Bank Office, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Brick Township Police Department, the Ocean County Sheriff's Department, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, Lakewood Police Department, and the Pennsylvania State Police for their collaborative efforts during this investigation.
