November 20, 2023Thanksgiving Day Store Closures: List of Closed Stores
November 20, 2023
This Thursday is Thanksgiving, a time to get together with loved ones, family, and friends for a day of feasting, giving gratitude, and, for many, football.
Thanksgiving Day marks the closure of many large merchants and grocery stores, but some stay open in case customers need to pick up any last-minute goods for their holiday celebration.
The holiday closures are a sharp contrast to a few years prior, when consumers were leaving early from Thanksgiving dinner to get to the mall or other retailers in time to take advantage of
Black Friday deals.
However, as the majority of banks and post offices will be closed on the holiday, customers might want to plan their visits before or after the holiday itself.
