Boat Crash in Ocean County: One Airlifted, Two Others Injured

Three people were hurt when a boat struck an Intercoastal Waterway marker close to the Mantoloking Bridge on Sunday night, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Around 10:20 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a boat collision at Traders Cove Marina.

According to state police, one of the passengers on the boat was flown to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.
Both the operator and another traveler were transported to a nearby hospital after sustaining minor injuries.

The identities and hometowns of the injured individuals, as well as the kind and size of the boat, were not disclosed.

According to state police, the crash is still being investigated.
