Nationwide Tik Tok Challenge Predicting School Violence for Tomorrow, December 17 Is Not Credible

Parents received emails this morning from the Principal of Toms River Intermediate East advising them that there was a bomb threat that was quickly deemed to be not credible.
As a precautionary measure, heavy police presence was on campus. However, out of an abundance of caution, Toms River Police Department brought the K-9 dogs through the building to confirm what was already expected.
As always, it is their primary intention to ensure the safety and security of the students and staff at all times, and in partnership with the Toms River Police Department, they were able to swiftly address all concerns.
This comes to in addition to the alert that was sent out yesterday in regards to the Nationwide Tik Tok Challenge Predicting School Violence for today, December 17 which also was not credible.
According to the email sent out out students, parents and teachers, no specific threat has been made toward any Toms River School, but they were in communication with the Toms River Police Department, as well as the police departments of Beachwood and Pine Beach.
